Catalyst and Consumables

The process has been designed to maximise simplicity and efficiency using pre-mixed Sodium Methylate catalyst at the correct concentrations in the correct quantities for daily, weekly and monthly consumption.

The system requires the regular supply of catalyst and other consumables such as filters. For every 2000 litres of fuel produced approximately 250 litres of catalyst is consumed.

Catalyst and service maintenance is delivered through a dedicated distributor network to the site of each BioCube™. Using safe, robust containers there is little handling of the chemical required. A plug and play system typically used for airlines in their re-fuelling systems is employed.
